Sodium benzoate (E211) is preservative of foodstuff. Traditionally it is issued in three commodity forms: in the form of powder, flakes and granules. In 100 g of water at the room temperature 63 g of sodium benzoate are dissolved. Powder is most quicker dissolved, however it very strongly raises dust therefore at its use it is necessary to apply special means of protection. Besides, it is heavy to dose powdery sodium benzoate because of its low flowability.
