Combining usual automatic IVL and the auxiliary modes by means of the device it is possible to stimulate spontaneous respiratory activity from the very beginning of compulsory ventilation, and the interactive mode of transition of VIVL to IVL (A+CMV; SiMV - CMV) prevents development of hypoventilation in case of "exhaustion" of the patient.

The design of the device allows the doctor to configure the alarms settings, most important for the patient, independently. The alarm system of operation is duplicated by a visual and sound method. Besides in the device the possibility of storing of the chosen pressure sizes is provided in a respiratory contour for an exception of critical changes of parameters of ventilation (the limited deviation no more than 30%). The emergency and precautionary alarm system works also in case of excess of temperature of respiratory mix over +40 °C, with automatic shutdown of heating; unauthorized shutdown of a network of food (the set parameters of ventilation remain in memory of 15 min.); depressurizations of a respiratory contour or achievement of the set restriction of pressure on a breath (Pmax); fluctuations of concentration of O2 in respiratory mix more than for 15% of established.
