The TaeguTec company, the world leader in production of the tool, represents new mills for processing with the increased productivity. Milling with big giving (High Feed) is one of the most productive methods of processing now. The main feature of this method - big sizes of giving and cutting speed with small depths.
The wide range of High Feed of mills which are specially oriented to high efficiency is effectively used in different types of production (from processing of stamps and compression molds to the space industry). The main series of mills TaeguTec for work on big giving are series of mills - Bull Mill, ChaseFeed Plus and new plate in the ChaseMill Mini series.
The main series for high-performance processing from TaeguTec is BullMill mills. BullMill is the patented series of mills for milling with ultrahigh giving.
Features of this series is the double-sided plate of XDMX with unique geometry of the cutting edge formed by two curves that allows to reach high giving on tooth and provides permanent reinforcement of cutting, even when milling deep grooves with big departure of the tool.
When processing the main component of force of cutting is directed towards spindle if to compare to classical end mill with corner in respect of 90 degrees, this component is directed perpendicular to tool rotation axis. Programmable radius at top for creation of managing programs makes R=3mm. There are two dimensions of plate - XDMX13 (Fz to 4 mm / tooth with depth of 2 mm) and XDMX08 (Fz to 2 mm / tooth with depth of 1 mm). Each plate has 2 cutting edges. Additional plus of the body of mill is the special seat in the form of lastochkiny tail. Also there are several struzhkolomayushchy geometriya depending on application:
M - universal geometry;
MM - for semi-roughing;
MR - for the heavy roughing and processing tempered staly.
The nomenclature of the body of mills consists from end (range of diameters from 20 mm to 40 mm), edge (range of diameters from 50 mm to 125 mm) mills and modular heads (range of diameters from 20 mm to 40 mm). Fastening of plates on the body of mills is carried out by means of the patented system of fastening of plates "the screw at an angle".
As example, by means of mill with a diameter of 40 mm even on the low-power vertical processing center (DIN69871 40 cone) when processing compression mold from tool X12 steel the following results have been received: rotating speed of spindle of S=450mm / about and minute giving of Fmin =900mm/mines (Giving on Fz=0.7mm/tooth tooth) with depth of cutting of Ap=1.2 of mm that in comparison with the existing method of processing is 3.5 times more productive. Firmness of one cutting edge has made 4 hours.
The ChaseFeedPlus series is considered more economic series - it is mills for high-performance milling of compression molds and stamps with economic plate.
