Nigrol is the mineral oil without additives representing the crude viscous remains from direct distillation of oil. It is used seldom on outdated types of equipment for greasing of units of transmissions at a contact tension to 600 MPas and oil temperature in volume to 90 °C. It is characterized by unsatisfactory antiwear, anti-oxidizing and low-temperature properties. At oil refineries by special orders of buyers 2 types of Nigrol - winter and summer are issued. Winter and summer Nigrola differ among themselves with the viscosity level, temperatures of flash and hardening.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOST 17479.2-85 Nigrol ositsya to TM-1 group. The basic oils (TB-20, TS-14,5) forming a basis for production of automobile transmission oils belong to the same group. It is applied during the summer period to greasing of all types of transfers, units of transmissions and systems of a forward suspension bracket, and also to greasing of a steering.
