In the conditions of the fierce price competition, producers of the flying devices are faced by problem of reduction in cost of production of aluminum elements of airplanes, launch vehicles and the accompanying products. The only way - to lower costs of production, so, to reduce time of processing of parts due to increase in productivity, applying new decisions in the field of metal working.
Actively participating in process of production of such hi-tech parts of aluminum alloys, the TaeguTec company has let out series of mills CHASEALU intended for high-speed milling. It represents mills with mechanical fastening of plates.
The most interesting hard-alloy plate like XECT having the 2nd cutting edges is the cornerstone of novelty. The dimension of plate makes 16 mm at the expense of what it is possible to remove allowance to 15 mm on depth for one pass.
The main trouble when processing aluminum is the effect of sticking of metal to the cutting tool which is catastrophically reducing firmness of the tool and influencing quality of the processed surface. Having modifed front surface by method of modern polish (Fig. 3), the cutting plate of XECT excludes this negative factor at any modes of cutting.
