The demand of high-quality and at the same time economic tool in all industries of metal-working industry is obvious. Pursuing the aim of increase of productivity without increase in costs of providing production sites with the tool, engineers of the TaeguTec company have developed new tool material for hard-alloy plates, having allocated it with the unique combination of properties raising indicators of efficiency of processing cutting practically in any industry.

Thanks to combination of properties of the cutting plates from ultra fine grain with advantages of modern types of PVD coverings (Fig. 1), new alloy of TT2510 guarantees to replaceable many-sided plates unsurpassed nobody competitive wear resistance and high resistance to oxidation so far that is especially valuable in the conditions of processing of parts at high temperatures.

Numerous tests in the world and at the Ukrainian enterprises have shown that new alloy with PVD covering is irreplaceable for processing tempered (hardness to HRC 65) and previously tempered staly, and also tool staly which are widely used at production of compression molds and stamps. On such operations TT2510 possesses the increased wear resistance and it is recommended to application with average and high cutting speeds that is visible from Fig. 2.

Comparative results of tests with the closest competitors show increase in life cycle of plates of TaeguTec in TT2510 alloy at least for 50% under identical conditions of cutting. New alloy with PVD covering is available practically to all geometrical forms and the sizes of the cutting plates of the TaeguTec company which have already well proved and has found effective niche on tens of Ukrainian productions.
