300-400g of lean bacon
350g of red lentils
Parsley and dill
Salt to taste.
Preparation:
Cut onion and bacon into cubes, grate carrots on a coarse grater and fry over low heat. Rinse red lentils, cover with water and cook over medium heat until tender (15 minutes), stirring occasionally. When the water boils, quickly add salt to taste, add fried bacon with onions and carrots. When lentils reach consistency of mashed potatoes, add finely chopped herbs, stir, turn off the heat, let the soup infuse for 10-15 minutes.
