Lentils "Green", 350 g

SALAD FROM GREEN LENTILS

1 onion

400g of mushrooms

200g of brisket or lean bacon

350g of green lentils

Juice of ½ lemon

Mayonnaise or olive oil.

Herbs, salt to taste.

Method of preparation:

Cover green lentils with water and boil until tender (15 minutes); before the end of cooking salt to taste, discard in a colander. Chop onions finely, mushrooms and smoked brisket into small pieces.

In a frying pan over low heat fry chopped onion, mushrooms, smoked brisket (or bacon). When onion becomes transparent and brisket browned, add boiled lentils, stir sprinkle with lemon juice and turn off the heat. If desired, before serving, season salad with mayonnaise; it is possible to add finely chopped greens.
