PET – Arnit (ERTALYTE)
Arnit (polyethyleneterephthalate) - it is rather new semi-crystalline polymer developed for technical application. It is suitable for production from it mechanical details which demand area stability (formoustoychivost) and low coefficient of friction.

This material very dense therefore it does not possess high shock resistance. Its modification at addition of other polymers is possible, but this operation can be carried out to the detriment of such characteristics as density, durability on compression and bend which are characteristic of PET.
Use in mechanics: thanks to low coefficient of friction this material especially is suitable for rams, guides, bearings, etc. Thanks to area stability it represents the excellent choice for high-precision details in which parameters of density have to be observed in the conditions of the increased humidity and temperature. Use in contact with foodstuff: this material is physiologically inert and widely used in the food industry.
use in electrical equipment: excellent electric properties (stability at the long period of work) do PET suitable for production of insulators and other electric details.
Use in chemistry: good resistance to acids and chlorine-containing solutions.
