Heat counter — the complex of devices intended for accounting of heat energy. Heat rate is defined as work of volume of the heat carrier of the consumer who has passed through system and differences of temperatures between an entrance and an exit from it therefore obligatory components of the counter of heat are: calculator, flow rate sensor and pair of temperature sensors.

The heat meter of Apator LQM-III is intended for measurement of the consumed heat energy in systems of heat supply with the thermal power from 100 W to 100 MW where the heat carrier is water.
