In many situations the flint represents nearly only opportunity to make fire. For example, the dampened matches and an empty lighter are known to each tourist. To make fire hands – it is rather a good luck in combination with hot day and abundance of dry fuel. The flint which sparks have tremendous temperature will allow you to kindle a fire in any weather. The product consists of two parts fastened with a nylon lace for usability and storage.
Getting of fire is made by the "scraping" movement by a side of a flat medallion on a flint surface. The sparks appearing in process have temperature much above, than a match spark, and therefore effectively light a dead wood, wooden shaving, thin dry branches. Flint core length – 5 centimeters (with the handle – 8 centimeters). Gross weight – 28 grams.
We recommend: for the correct use of a flint it is worth using well fluffed up grass (a dead wood you remember in hands and blow on it), pine shaving, the top layer of birch bark, thickness in standard sheet. Also as a kindling the wadded disk well approaches. For receiving sparks it is not obligatory to put big pressure upon a flint. Bring a core most close to a ready kindling (better – establish it at a small angle on it) and make several wires a medallion on a core towards a kindling.
