The FILTOMAT M100-4500 series are improved, but at the same time, are easy-to-control automatic filters with the self-cleaning mechanism, brought into work by means of the hydraulic turbine. The FILTOMAT M100-4500 series are developed for work with various types sit with degrees of a filtration from 800 to 50 microns and available with 4" and 6" inlet/final diameter.
General Description
Water gets to the filter through an inlet branch pipe and passes through a sieve with large openings which is developed for protection of the cleaning mechanism against big parts of dirt. It should not accumulate large numbers of the weighed firm particles and is not cleared automatically. Then water passes through a sieve with small openings which filters smaller particles. Clear water then flows from the filter to the outlet. Particles form "filtrational flat cake" which collects on a sieve surface with small openings. Accumulation of flat cake increases pressure difference on a sieve with small openings, and at in advance established value (0.5 bars; 7 pounds per square inch) the automatic cycle self-cleaning begins. Clear water continues to flow via the outlet. The pure stream is supported during this cycle of washing. The soaking-up nozzles cover a sieve surface with small openings, deleting dirt and throwing out it through a drainage opening.
This innovative process of self-cleaning applies a method of washing and a settler to effective removal of parts of dirt from a sieve with small openings and to providing a continuous stream on a current during a cycle. Filters of the M100-4500 Series are hydraulically the operated devices. No external power supply is required. This type of management allows to carry out work on remote assembly sites. Alternatively if there is an access to electricity, the filter can include an electric control facility.
