Appointment: Production of sodium hypochlorite by electrolysis. The electrolysis unit is used mainly for water treatment and disinfection systems.

 

The electrolysis unit produces a disinfecting reagent - sodium hypochlorite. This occurs by electrolysis of a solution of water and tableted salt (or table salt). The installation is connected to the water supply system and sodium hypochlorite will be continuously dosed into the pipeline and disinfect drinking water or wastewater. And also, the obtained pure sodium hypochlorite can be dosed and stored in a separate container and subsequently used for disinfection, sterilization or bleaching.

Block electrolysis unit is designed to obtain a disinfecting reagent - sodium hypochlorite - by electrolysis of a solution of sodium chloride and water. The unit is connected to a water supply system and can be used for disinfection of drinking water, disinfection of water supply networks at water treatment plants, for disinfection of water in a pool, disinfection of wastewater, including biologically treated. And also, the obtained pure sodium hypochlorite can be dosed and stored in a separate container and subsequently used for disinfection, sterilization or bleaching.

The installation works on the principle of electrolysis of a solution of sodium chloride in a single - chamber electrolyzer. The sodium hypochlorite created during electrolysis is continuously dosed into the treated water by gravity into a clean water tank, or into a sewage collector. The installation consists of a salt solution preparation unit, an electrolyzer, a power unit, and a gas separator. The salt solution preparation unit contains a plastic tank, as well as salt and water solution flow meters. The electrolyzer consists of an electrolysis chamber and an electrode cassette placed in it. The gas separator is designed to separate the generated electrolysis gases from the hypochlorite solution and remove them into the atmosphere.

Operating conditions must comply with GOST 15150 - 69, the design of the room is UHL - 4, (air temperature from + 1 ° C to + 35 ° C, relative humidity 80% at a temperature of + 25 ° C).
