Description
1. Zink-filled compositions.
1.1. Zink-filled compositions (TsNK) created on the basis of high-disperse zinc powder are developed for ensuring long-term anticorrosive protection of a metalwork and products from steel,
which are operated in conditions with the increased and high corrosion and erosive aggression of surrounding and working environments.
The principles of designing of systems of sheetings of the increased reliability which are widely used in world practice (ISO 12944-5:1998) are the cornerstone of the offered anticorrosive compositions:
the combination of layers to the different mechanism of protection (cathodic, barrier, inhibiting) providing high-quality increase of reliability of all system of a covering in general;
use of paints and varnishes (LKM) on the basis of highly effective, - from the point of view of isolating properties and chemical firmness, - the pigments and polymers (for example, polyurethane, epoxides and their modified forms) allowing to realize most fully protection, any of mechanisms.
1.2. The offered TsNK apply on the protected surface in the ways, traditional for paint and varnish coverings (pneumatic and airless dispersion, a brush, the roller) in industrial and field conditions at temperatures from - 15 ° C to + 40 ° C.
After drying of TsNK form the films with the high content of zinc (to 97) which are effectively protecting surfaces to similarly zinc all-metal coverings which receive by galvanic methods, by methods of hot galvanizing or a metallizirovaniye. Thanks to the high content of powder of zinc in a dry film the mechanism of protection of a surface same, as well as in case of all-metal zinc coverings - cathodic (tire-tread): at impact on a covering of hostile environment or at emergence of defect on it zinc is oxidized, preventing corrosion of steel and providing damage "self-curing".
The simple technology of drawing TsNK on a surface allows to use exclusive protective properties of zinc in cases when drawing zinc coverings by traditional methods is difficult to achieve or economically unprofitable, and to consider process of drawing such coverings as "cold" galvanizing.
Also the barrier mechanism of protection, typical for paint and varnish coverings, which value increases in use is inherent in coverings of TsNK. It is connected with the fact that in covering micropores the insoluble products of corrosion of zinc interfering corrosion and active agents to access to steel collect over time.
Thus, TsNK summarize advantages of zinc all-metal and paint and varnish coverings (table 1) that causes uniqueness of their properties and expediency of application in systems of long-term protection. Practice shows that use of durable systems of coverings on the basis of TsNK allows to reduce repeatedly the subsequent costs of operation and repair.
