The equipment is intended for ensuring the operated process of optimum defrosting of meat with steam - air mix. The equipment is used in rooms up to 200 sq. m, the maximum loading to 30 t. Time of defrosting of beef in half carcasses – 24 – 36 hours, pork of 18 - 24 hours. After the termination of a cycle of defrosting the automatic sink of half carcasses and further drying is provided. Support of the set temperature and humidity is carried out by means of steam heaters and direct injection of steam to the room through nozzles. Air ducts of variable section and fans with an adjustable speed of rotation allow to receive uniform and operated (which is set) air speed in a chamber.
