Products high-fire-resistant hromitoperiklazovy HP-1, HP-2, HP-3, HP-4, HP-5 in accordance with GOST 5381-93
Magnezitokhromitovy and chromomagnesite high-fire-resistant products contain not less than 60% of MgO and 5 — 15% of Sg203, chromomagnesite from 42 to 60% of MgO and to 32% of Sg203. The products released by the fire-resistant industry subdivide on calcination and bezobzhigovy.
Calcination products happen two types: general purpose and heat-resistant, intended especially for a laying of the arches of martin and electrosteel-smelting furnaces. Magnezito-hromitovye and chromomagnesite products of general purpose produce from chromite and magnesite. The chromite crushed to the sizes of grains from 0,06 to 22 mm and the burned magnesite humidify up to 2,5 — 3,5%. The received mix is maintained in special holes within 2 — 3 days then add 20 — 30% which are previously crushed, humidified to 2 — 3% and the lame and magnesite fight which matured within not less days received from dismantling of a laying of furnaces during their repair to it. The weight (furnace charge) received from these components is directed to molding. Molding, drying and roasting of these products are similar to similar operations for magnesite
Fire resistance of products of general purpose is not below 2000 °C. Strength at compression of 200 — 500 kgfs / см2\temperature began deformations under load of 2 kgfs/cm2 1450 — 1600 °C; the seeming porosity of 11,5 — 26,5%; volume weight is 2,7 — 2,86 B/CMZ; thermal stability 3 — 5.
Furnace charge of heat-resistant chromomagnesite is formed from 30 — 35% of chromite, 50 — 60% of the burned magnesite and 4 — 7% of iron ore with the maintenance of Fe203 not less than 50%. Chromite crush to grains from 3 to 0,8 mm in size, and the burned magnesite and iron ore — to grains less than 1 mm. The furnace charge mixed in necessary proportions is moistened to 2,5 — 4% and within 4 days matures in special holes then arrives in mixing runners where from mernik add to it sulphitic and alcohol to the bard in number of 0,5% and then ready weight is given on molding.
Pressing of magnezitokhromitovy and chromomagnesite products, their drying and roasting are carried out on the same mode, as magnesite products. Fire resistance of heat-resistant chromomagnesite products to 2000 °C; strength at compression of 300 — 500 kgfs/cm2; temperature began deformations under load of 2 kgfs/cm2 1470 — 1500 °C; the porosity seeming no more than 25%; volume weight is 2,78 — 2,87 g/cm3] thermal stability 40 — 60.
