Blue big-eared pheasan

The blue pheasant has plumage of blue color with an ash-gray shade, the head slate-black, a chin, a throat and the ear extended feathers the white, covering a wing dark brown with a purple shade, swing opaque brown. Steering feathers 24, from which
couple of averages bluish-gray, on tips with dark and very bright green spots; 6 couples of helmsmen at the basis with wide white cross strips and on the ends with "pocket mirrors". The beak is dark brown, legs red, with spurs. Length of a male 96, tail of 49-56 cm. Coloring of plumage of a female same, but it the smaller sizes and a leg at it without spurs.
Blue pheasants are widespread in East Tibet and the Western China where keep in the Alpine zone of mountains, the juniper and mixed woods as settled birds. In March packs break up to couples and birds start nesting. In a laying of 8-14 eggs.
