Artificial freezing of soil is applied at a driving of tunnels, and also at construction of underground constructions in difficult hydrogeological conditions (water-saturated sand, quicksands, sandy loams, etc.) for creation of temporary strengthening of water-saturated soil in the form of a strong and waterproof ledogruntovy protection of the closed contour.
